We provide services to following areas:
Lyn's Iron Maidens was founded in 2005 offering ironing services in north East Hampshire, West Sussex and East Surrey. Formed as an exclusive ironing-only business, we offer a unique service; collecting your ironing laundry from your home, weighing it at your door and giving you the price immediately and delivering back to you (usually within 48 hours) so that you do not have to do all the hard work.
We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment and for example only use clothes covers that have 50% less plastic and degradable, thus protecting your valuable garments throughout the process and helping the environment. What could be better than that?
We promise a high-quality service at reasonable, competitive prices. We are flexible and adapt to our customers needs, collecting and returning items to you on pre-arranged evenings usually within 48 hours. Standard pricing
We price per kilogram of ironing. If you order less than 8 Kg, the price is £6.80. * There is a minimum order charge of 5 kg.
Large order discounts
If you order 8 Kg or more, we will charge you a discounted rate of £6.20 per Kg
FREE collection & returns
When you order ironing from us, we will collect and deliver back to you for free.
1Kg is approximately 4-5 long sleeve cotton shirts, 3-4 pairs of trousers, or 1 double/king quilt, sheet and 2 pillowcases

How can I pay for my ironing?We accept cash, cheque or secure bank transfer (BACS)

How do I know what I'm going to pay?The price we charge is based on weight (per Kg). When we arrive at your house we will weigh your ironing and let you know the weight and the total price. For weights of 7Kg and under, we charge £6.80 per Kg (subject to a minimum order of 5Kg). For weights of 8Kg and over, we charge £6.20 per Kg. Collection and delivery back to your home is FREE. For reference, 1Kg is approximately 4-5 long sleeve, mens cotton shirts, or 3-4 pairs of mens trousers, or 1 double quilt, sheet and 2 pillowcases.

Do I need to weigh my own clothes?No, we will weigh your ironing with you, so you know exactly how much it will cost. As a rough estimate there are approximately 4-5 shirts to a Kilogram (Kg).

What time of day do you collect and deliver?Are collection and delivery times are between 5.30pm - 10.30pm Monday to Thursday. Please contact us if you require a specific collection or delivery time and we will make every effort to accomodate your needs.

Is there a minimum amount of ironing you'll accept?Yes, due to the cost of collection and delivery the minimum we will accept is 5Kg.

Do you offer a next day service?Our standard service is 2-3 days, if you require a shorter service please contact us to discuss your needs.

What areas to do you serve?We provide ironing services within the Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex area.
